We are writing to inform you about a possible spread of Herpes simplex. We are reaching out the parents due to a few students outbreaks. Herpes simplex can attack both children and parents so if signs are present be careful as it is very contagious. Herpes complex is known as Herpes liabalis, otherwise known as fever blisters or cold sores. Signs of this illness are visible vesicles either in the lips or adjacent skin. Symptoms include tingling or itching in the affected area. These vesicles and sores have a fluid that should not be touched since it is highly contagious.
