I am so impressed by the staff effort and content put into Inkblot’s previous publications. They have inspired me to want to assist creating future great collections. So by bringing in my own personal influence, talents, and perspective, I would love to help enhance what is already outstanding. The Inkblot staff are leaders, and I am eager to be one of those proud representatives of Creative Writing. Although I firstly want Inkblot to benefit from the abilities I can offer, I also forsee myself learning with this responsibility. Because I intend on entering a career in writing, this unique experience in a literary workplace environment will prepare me for my future. I want to involve myself in a domain that I am devoted to and believe I will succeed in. I think that literary magazines are their own kind of ministry. Writing is an essential piece of culture and interpersonal/intrapersonal understanding; I consider sharing the power of words to be an important humanitarian service. Those who have seen Legally Blonde know she eventually proves her cleverness by winning a court case with cosmetic knowledge, but there is so much more to her than that. First of all, she attends the fictional equivalent to UCLA, CULA, and maintains a 4.0 GPA, along with extensive extracurriculars. That is impressive! So although she seems to have been accepted to Harvard for her bikini-clad admissions video, she’s already incredibly deserving. All the while, she truly values kindness (not to mention her advocacy for animal rights) but does not let anyone use or disrespect her. I am actually an especially big fan of characters that still enjoy a certain amount of trivial vanity amongst high intellect and a strong sense of morality. Ms. Woods does that perfectly. Snaps for
