The founding generation had fought for the right for vocal, physical, and religious freedom for man, but had not allowed ALL men to be equal, as well as the women who had faced oppression due to them not being represented correctly at the time. As long as the idea of freedom for all people is ignored, The Founding Generation had a great influence and had many great, country-changing ideas.

Colonization dbq In colonial America the 13 colonies were not united as they are today they each had their own ideas about religion, politics, and society. Many people came to America to find religious freedom, but they were not as opened minded as some people may think. Each region had its own religion who tended to keep to each other and outside religions were frowned upon. However Maryland’s act of toleration says that no form of Christianity shall be in any way troubled (doc1).
People have a lot of freedom to do what they want, everybody is treated equally, most people get justice for crimes. From my experiences from learning about the United States’ history, they have demonstrated many times throughout the many topics they care about there about their people and have shown that through
As Americans we are not open to different cultures, we believe what we do is the right way it should be
The United States of America, one of the greatest countries on earth today. A place that 318.9 million people call their home. A country whose identity has been formed by a series of wars, people, political events, and more day in and day out. Going back to the earliest stage of America that we know, The French and Indian war was the first major war that started to create and form the America we know today. For over a century the French and British lived peacefully amongst one another in the new world.
America a place where people could feel safe and now that we are the most powerful nation we are able to feel safe. The only way to keep our safeness is to elect very strong Presidents. Some of the strong presidents might not be able to run because of the “natural born law”. This law does not allow immigrants who are now American citizens to run for president. Even though Immigrants have all of the other requirements to become president they are not allowed to run.
When thinking of America the first thing that might come to mind would be “Freedom” or “American Dream/Promise”. Although in some cases they both fall in the same place, as portrayed in the speech. The illustration portrays the immigrants that are sailing over to America. While the speech tells you about how we should view America and its values. Both the illustration and speech portray what the American promise is.

The highlight of being american is freedom, as an american we have have the rights to be or to do what we want. We can choose what school or what college we want to go and also we can choose a major for us to make a living. Being American gave us freedom of speech, the chance to vote, also the country would help you out if you need money, health insurance, and welfare. The amazing thing about being american is that we have a great army that fight day and night to keep the american people safe and sound.
People from all over the world came to the US for many reasons, and with them came their culture. The US is considered today as a place where, for the most part, all people and cultures are accepted. This can all be traced back to the immigrants that came to the US in the late 1800s. These people brought their customs and traditions to the US and allowed the people to really experience how other people around the world live. Foods, religions, governments, and ideals are just some of the many thing immigrants brought to the US that overall made the US a much more complex country.
Donald Trump put his foot down on this nationality diversity. He signed an executive order, which banned seven Muslim majority countries from permitting citizens to enter our country. It seems to go against the American way. America is built upon diversity and freedom. Freedom of speech, religion and the right to bear arms are a few important parts of American structure that sets us apart from other countries.
The America I believe in is a wonderful place, much like childhood, where our country is spared from everything else going around it. Safe from the danger, and oblivious to anything else that might harm us, yet still cautious to be safe. The America I believe in would be safe, no one having to worry about getting hurt just by going outside, and while this may be nearly impossible, I believe our country, being one of a kind, can accomplish this. Our country is free, yet safe, advanced, yet modest, and for these reasons I have faith that America can pick itself up when it falls and keep going as though it never happened, can continue to advance despite threats from elsewhere, and despite what happens, our country has left a mark on this world,
The United States of America has always been a breeding ground for dreams to develop into reality. Every person, who has had the opportunity to walk on American soil, knows the endless potential this country has granted each individual. Whether they are African American, Muslim, Chinese or Mexican, Mother America accepts all ethnicities with a color blind iris. In truth, the United States has taken a numerous amount of time and effort to become the super nation it is today. I envision the United States of America continuing to overcome its challenges and further positively influence individuals.
Safety is not offered anywhere and is a privilege. Safety is something that you hope for because anything can happen on any given day. People should be willing to give up their freedom for safety because safety is a privilege. In today’s society, if you live in America, you have some type of freedom. Even though we have laws and rules, we still have freedom to do things.
