Romeo and Juliet is a play that has stood the test of time and remains relevant today. It tells the story of two young lovers from feuding families who are willing to risk everything for their love. One reason why Romeo and Juliet is still relevant today is because it explores the theme of love and how it can affect people. The play shows that love can make people act irrationally and impulsively. Romeo's love for Juliet makes him willing to risk his life to be with her. He says, "With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls, For stony limits cannot hold love out" (Act 2, Scene 2). The start of my evidence begins; Romeo and Paris have a fight. Romeo is going to the graveyard to kill himself and lay by Juliet but he is met by Paris. The feud begins where Romeo says, "wilt thou provoke me? Then have at thee, boy!" Romeo and Paris fight it out and Romeo slays Paris. Paris's last words are, "O, I am slain!
