BACKGROUND JAB Clothings is known as one of the most fashionable and affordable clothing brands in Canada. JAB is looking for ways to increase their CSR by becoming environmentally friendly. This will allow JAB to positively impact the environment and also to attract shareholders to the company to help it expand their brand globally. This year, JAB generated profitable revenue and consequently the company decided to set a budget of $100,000 in order to implement a new and improved green initiative in order to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollutions. Currently, there have been several reports of greenhouse gas emissions increasing exponentially. The company’s products have been producing high amounts of waste from leftover materials and chemicals that end up in landfills. As this depicts a lack of respect for the environment, the company is adapting a poor image in the world market. It is necessary to make sure that the company takes the necessary measures to decrease its carbon footprint.
