Many different factors affected the plot, theme, and characters in James Patterson books. James Patterson has written the different type of books that have different plot theme and characters. Though I noticed that in one of the book series he wrote the plot changed a numerous of times as well as the theme.

The theme of one of the book series that he has written is ¨Maximum Ride¨. The theme of this book was love, anger, revenge, fear, and loneliness. In each of the books in the series, the plot is always being changed. In the first book, they are in a building that is full of ¨White Coats¨ that run all kind of weird and harmful tests, but the characters call it ¨The School¨ those two words for them are evil. Then the characters which are Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy and Angel (They are the main characters in the entire series) escape and start living in peace in a house on a mountain. They also find that they have something special to them that's different from everyone else. They get involved with a company and are later placed in a school, but not the one where all the ¨White Coats¨ test/experiment on them. As always their has to be something wrong or something involving the ¨White Coats¨ or the ¨The School¨. So Gazzy and Fang go exploring the school and find a basement where there are files of students and other things. They read through some and find that the school there in shows about and are somehow connected to the other. That's when they realize that they were lied to when the people at the company said they would be safe and while they're there they don't need to worry about the other school because they don't have any connections with them. The themes here was anger when they all found out they were being lied
