It is with pleasure that I provide a letter of recommendation for Devincee Anderson. I have the opportunity of being a co-worker with him while he is currently employing at Division of Youth Services as a Youth Services Specialist-II. Devincee is extremely dedicated to the committed youths, detailed oriented, self-motivated, and deeply compassionate. Devincee is a natural leader and always meeting his deadlines. Devincee is an intelligent and motivated individual.
It is my privilege to write a letter recommending Jim Burke, a former student of mine at Rio Americano High School, for admission to Pitzer College. Based on reading “Want to Get into College?’ Learn to Fail,” the article you wrote for Education Week magazine in February, 2012, I am convinced that Jim Burke would be a valuable addition to your student body. Mr. Burke has had a great deal of trouble throughout high school. Jim was less than perfect in school.
I will have attended and participated in all vocational counseling activities as noted by my MRS counselor. I will have continued treatment with my doctor. I will have participated in a BNU evaluation to identify the accommodations I need to be successful on a job. If necessary, I will have worked with a division rehabilitation specialist with BNU. I will have cooperated fully with all job development and job placement activities, so I can obtain a job.
I am writing this letter to express my interest in your illustrious organization, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I am currently a senior majoring in Criminal Justice, minoring in African American Studies with aspirations of becoming a Social Justice Attorney. Born in the inner city of New York and being raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, I am not your typical Southern Belle or City girl. I like to think of myself as being a fine mix of the two. At a young age my mother groomed me into what she believed a well-rounded lady should be.
Re: Letter of Recommendation for Joshua Whiting To The RA Selection Committee: I write on behalf of Joshua Whiting’s application for a Resident Assistant position. I believe Josh to be an exemplary student-scholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills. I met Josh in my first semester of college in our biology class. We were both Biochemistry majors so we got to skip Biology 1 and therefore were both new to this new world of college but already in a group full of sophomores and students who had been in college for multiple semesters. Naturally we gravitated to each other due to this aspect we had in common.
Kiara has been working with her MRC counselor to identify appropriate supports that could be implemented to help her be successful with her academic goals. For this reason, an
It is with great pleasure I submit my recommendation in support of one of my most talented and bright students, Emily Lozano. As I write this letter, Emily Lozano is my student in English 12 Honors: Senior English Literature, at NOVA Academy Early College High School in Coachella, California. As her English teacher since August 2016, I can confidently say both her attitude and attention towards her school work is fitting of the title of “honors.” In addition to a positive, professional attitude, she also currently holds straight “A” marks in all of her academic coursework.
I believe that I am an exceptional applicant for Winona State University’s Counselor Education Department Minority Scholarship because I have a vast amount of experiences that I have demonstrated in my education that demonstrates my commitment to mental health, the goals that I have set to achieve as a professional counselor, and what I done currently within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in terms of community involvement. I chose the Counselor Education program as a graduate program because I have always had a passion for helping others succeed through their own story and experience. There are many other professions that can work in helping others such as teaching and healthcare, but I am drawn to counseling as it is one of
The standards of a Sterling Scholar, scholarship, citizenship and leadership have been exemplified in the way I have conducted my life through the following examples. I have never really excelled in academics. I believe learning the information is far more important than getting a good grade. Math, Science, and English are not my strong suits, but I’ve always loved working with computers. From a young age I’ve always been fascinated with technology and how it helps us advance as a society.
I aim to achieve this goal with the help of your institution by working hard, continually advancing my education, and using evidence-based findings to guide my
Dear the National Honor Society selection committee, Thank you for the great honor of being invited to apply for membership to such a well-respected and incredible organization. I am very excited about this opportunity as it presents an optimal way in which to further my passion of expanding my mind and bettering my community. Since I entered high school, I have pursued this by taking all honors classes and any Advanced Placement classes offered to me each year. Although sometimes I was not always entirely sure what to expect walking into each class, and of course there have been classes I like more than others, there is no class I regret taking because each and every one has opened my mind up to a new way of thinking.
To EPAC Appeals Sub-committee: This morning I received an email regarding my dismissal from the College of Nursing program. I am aware that I have failed NUR 250: Knowledge Foundations with a 71, instead of a 73. I’m writing this appeal letter to explain the cause of my poor grades and to ask you to please reconsider me to continue my progression into the nursing program. My poor academic performance has been a result of multiple stressors and life problems.
With my years of professional experience, along with my undergraduate education, I feel I have a great deal of knowledge and information to contribute the Elliott School, as well as my future classmates. In short, I would like to thank you for your time and consideration. I have no doubt that if you approve my application for admission that you will be as pleased with your decision as I will
I am currently an undergraduate at Rowan College at Gloucester County completing my pre-nursing studies. As I was growing up, I always enjoyed the idea of helping and healing others. My inspiration to become a nurse was watching my mother make a difference in the lives of elderly at a local senior living community as an Activities Assistant for years. Even though, she was unable to go back to school due to personal circumstances, the compassion she showed towards others around her was something special as she took care of them as if they were relatives. Whenever I had free time, I would just sit and play a game with the elderly residents hearing their life stories from when they were young.
I apologize for the constant emails and the constant asking of your help. Since you are doing my college recommendations---which I am still very grateful that you agreed to do so---I just thought that I would send some materials early to you. I do not like procrastination and I figured it could alleviate from the both of us. However, I just want you to know that the information that I share with you is very personal and I do not want sympathy.
