Jim Abbott would never have made it to the major leagues without the help he received help from family and friends along the way, encouraging him to believe in himself and that he could do it. “It was my parents, my coaches and teachers, literally pulling me to the side and saying you can do this. In addition to Abbott, the Apollo 13 mission would not have been saved. The mission control team supported them and decided to help them make the filter that eventually saved their lives.
