The British author J.K Rowling once said, “if you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.” Joanne Rowling is an inspirational author, an outspoken woman, and is the main reason why I love to read. Her books uncovered the world of literature to me, a world that the deeper I walked into the more I become fascinated with. Rowling’s Harry Potter series had been a tremendous part of my childhood, where I had experienced love, death, friendship, and forgiveness in books for the first time. The Potter series were and still are an escape where I laughed, cried, and mourned along with, The Trio, Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They were the reason why my parents would get upset with me for being awake late most nights until I finished the series. In fact, the reason why the Harry Potter series are my all-time favorite books is because they are fascinating, unique, and person behind them lives up to the uniqueness of her books. Rowling lured me into the world of books and magic by giving significance and purpose to her words. For example, “Always” might seem like any other word for many, but to people who read Harry Potter “Always” has a more profound meaning. “Always” is the heartfelt love that Severus Snape had for Lily Evans Potter. Writing literature for me has regularly been arduous. When I write a paper or a simple summary my mind usually goes blank and I have difficult expressing myself on paper. I usually avoid having to write essays until I can’t possibly ignore them any longer, because I have no confident in my writing skills. I can’t spontaneously write about anything or anyone compared to other individuals. For every page, I compose I possible stare at a computer screen blankly with no idea what to write for an hour
