One could say that J.K. Rowling is one of the best authors of all time. She is most known for her book series, Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling is not only an amazing author but is the ultimate role model when it comes to overcoming fear and doing what she loves. Before J.K. Rowling made it to a famous author, she had to hurdle over major roadblocks in her life. She lost her mother, got a divorce and started to live in poverty. J.K. Rowling has had so many tragedies in her life but was able to push through all of it making her a role model and inspires many people to continue chasing their dreams. In 1991, J.K. Many of her characters in her series, Harry Potter, resemble things or people that have affected her life. J.K. Rowling mentions that she has written the character Herminie Granger after herself (Rowling). She feels that people may not like her because she is a "know it all", but nevertheless it is in close resemblance to JK Rowling. Another character that J.K. Rowling made resembling her past are the dementors. In the Harry Potter Series, dementors are creatures that suck the life out of happy people.
