The Heisman Award is awarded to the most outstanding player in college football whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Each year this is given to an athlete that is deserving. Just going to college for football is a great feat but having them fighting for you to come to their college is even crazier. Having 10 offers for football but only having one in a heart in his home state, Texas A&M was an easy choice. In 2012 just being a college freshman Johnny Manziel was awarded the Heisman Award which had never happened before. After two more college years, Manziel was drafted 22nd in the NFL draft to the Cleveland Browns making $8.247 million which included $6.702 million in guaranteed money.
