The Question to this argument is, “Was it morally right or wrong for Arizona to adopt and enforce AZ 1070 law in order to help eliminate and reduce the number of illegal immigrants in the US?” In thought this law is thought to be discriminating against one race, which in being is the Mexican-Hispanic race. Even though all the law states is that, “upon stopping someone for any other suspected legal infraction, reasonably suspect that their subject is in the country illegally. Those who cannot show documentation of legal entry will be fined… and maybe jailed…” We will be using Kantian Ethical Theory to come to a sound conclusion on the matter, which is that it was morally right for Arizona to adopt AZ 1070 into law.
Kantian Ethical theory is described and dictated solely based on logic at which no conditions can apply. The Theory is formulated on two categorical imperatives in which the first formulation is,” Act only according to that maxim by which you can at the same time will that it should become universal law.” And the second formulation is,” Act so that you treat humanity …show more content…

This law has no ethnical discrimination as people say because it is only under the sole aspect that they do this to everyone which they all have to prove that they are citizens. Everyone in The US is given a state Driver’s License which needs to be renewed every year and even before they become of this age they are given a social security can and birth certificate. It is only under the aspect of where Arizona is that it brings discrimination in to the basis of this situation. So under Kantian there are no hypotheticals in this situation. All there is what people presume and that’s minor percent of the population according to the poll who oppose this
