Three habits I 'd like to change this year is to be more organized, procrastinate less, and study for my tests longer. I tend to leave some of my homework assignments to the last minute, which makes me rush. I convince myself that my assignments will be easy and to just do them at a later time. But in reality, I just cost myself hours of homework and studying. That 's why I want procrastinate less so I can get more things done and I 'll have time to do things outside of school.

Based on the five theories of behavioural change that we covered in class, social cognitive theory, self determination theory, theory of planned behaviour, health action process approach and trans-theoretical model, I think the theory that applies best to myself is the self determination theory. This theory is characterized as having a relationship between extrinsic and intrinsic motivation and the basic human need for autonomy. This determines how self-motivated and self-determined the client is, as well as where their motivation comes from; whether this be extrinsically or intrinsically. Typically, people who associate themselves with self determination theory (SDT) are those who thrive on intrinsic rewards and whom enjoy the exercise they are doing. For example, I think I fit best with SDT because I love the exercise I do.

In my 7 habits profile, I discussed wanting to work on two habits for specific reasons. The two habits that I talked about working on are my P/PC balance, and habit three. I still want to work on these as they are important to my physical and mental wellbeing, which are both especially important to me. I still want to take action on both of these being that improving my health and having a healthy life is important to me.
