Daniel the great prophet appears around 600 BC when Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, conquered the southern Kingdom of Israel. The King had plans for these captives were to literally brainwash them. The king of Babylon wanted to have all these young men forget the Bible, forget God’s laws. Daniel was not going to bend it , he was not going to compromise. He remained faithful to the god of Israel his savior. Daniel and his three friends were standing against the culture and his faith trusting. The life of this Jewish Prophet shows how God could use him to have tremendous influence in the Babylonian Court.
