I would like to express my interest in the Supply Chain & Operations Internship listed as Job Number: 170218 on the Land O’Lakes Job Site. The opportunity to gain experience in agribusiness would be incredibly beneficial as an undergraduate student double-majoring in International Business and Supply Chain Management & Operations. I am particularly interested in your company because I see food as the centrally defining point for progress into the future for all countries and as the global population increases finding ways to support farmers and those in agriculture while providing excellent products for the growing consumer base will, and is, one of the defining focal points at hand. I believe Land O’Lakes will play a major part in this transformation and has a large role currently, especially being in over fifty countries

As Secretary of a club called UNICEF at the U, I came in seeing how through a foundation had been placed, goals were not able to be accomplished through lack of clear structure. I have been essentially re-formulating the operations of the organization, from how communications are handled to how and when events will be held throughout the upcoming year. In order to reach our joint goals, totally restructuring of our strategy was necessary in order for each member to use their own skills and grow together in order to aid children internationally. In making these changes, I have helped word spread about the club in general and also been aiding in putting members in positions where they can flourish, both to themselves and for the club in whole. Fueling my desire to pursue my major in supply chain is to improve sustainability and efficiency to not just reduce costs, but in tandem providing the consumer with the goods they value from in the greatest way possible, while aiding the world in totality.
