As companies review their bottom lines on sales, services, and customer satisfaction, in order to grow their businesses in their perspective markets, leadership is systematically forced to review what’s impeding their overall success. Many top CEOs and Board of Directors of today’s high impact companies and corporations know that transparency in their actions and getting in front of some trends and issues will be the key to successfully moving forward. Additionally, there has to be a strong emphasis on focused selection, development and coaching of leadership. Management and leadership have to be trained on how to coach, give feedback and regularly check in with employees-thru performance management on a daily basis (Berlin, 2015b).
Current technology helps to provide insight and support to businesses in the HR areas. In the process of recruiting candidates for hire, they help to produce screening tools; most candidates search out companies to check culture when they apply due to the active internet (Bersin, 2015b). It has also been viable in the culture changing processes by utilizing software advancements for to help simplify work related processes and open work spaces such as working from home or remotely. The new and updated applications and software have been instrumental in creating culture assessment tools; the ability to obtain real time feedback and the Performance and Goal Management tools are more targeted and precise (Berlin, 2015b).

When expanding global presence throughout the world, companies bear accountability to abide by the minimum standard ethical business guidelines of humans rights, employment practices, diversity, inclusion and humane working conditions. Many times this involves taking on human rights issues that are currently at the forefront of media and political spotlight due to their intense impact on the country’s population.
