Led Zeppelin may very well be credited to be one of the most popular in era bands to date. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham were a “force that could not be reckoned with” and everybody wanted a little piece of their music. Led Zeppelin holds the largest audience for a single-act show of 77,229 thousand people at the Silverdome in Michigan in 1977. Not believing in radio singles and only having a handful of them Led Zeppelin kept their fans waiting for the full length albums and through their career sold over 69 Million copies of those albums. For many, this would be an “ah-ha” moment, Led Zeppelins biggest hit being taken to court for plagiarism. However, the details are almost comical from a certain standpoint. The trial took place June 23, 2016, making it 45 years since the release of the song, and very notably AFTER the death of Randy Wolfe, the man who wrote, “Taurus”. The man who sued Led Zeppelin about the origins of the song is a man named Michael Skidmore, the trustee of Randy Wolfe. It was said in his life time Randy Wolfe never wanted to sue Led Zeppelin even when people pointed out the near 10 second similarity, he was actually extremely against it. From an unbiased bystander point of view, with all the time that has passed and death of the man who wrote the song in question, it looked like a plea to receive money after the recent and highly talked about court case of Pharell Williams 7.2-Million-dollar loss over a plagiarized song. After a week of trial Led Zeppelin won the case, not being charged with the
