Mission Statement

When people ask me what my life is about, I tell them that I have really no idea. I do not try to make my life about me because really, I do not think that I deserve that much attention. My life is about what I can do to make others happy. I elect to help people because not only does it help them, it also helps me. Also what I can do to make it a better place for everyone to live in. When people ask me what I want to do with my life I usually give them an answer like,”I want to help people”. “ Help others achieve their dreams and you will achieve yours”(Les Brown). I think that is really rude of people to do as people should not judge people by what they see or what they believe that person to be but by what they do or act. To be completely honest, I do not know much about my life. I know the important things like what I want to do. However after that I am clueless. I try not to focus on myself pretty much all the time. I do not know why. I believe that I am just here to do what I can to improve the lives of people around me. “Seeking what is true is not seeking what is desirable” ( Albert Camus). I do not really fit into social norms very well. You can see this right here in this essay. I have taken a straight left turn and have gone on a tangent about myself. The prompt for this essay was supposed to be about explaining the ideas behind the Mission Statement. However I found it more and more difficult to try to explain something that I really do not know much
