Lexi Stevens tirely woke up in class on a dark Thursday afternoon. It was literacy her last period and she had been sleeping throughout class. Bri (Lexi’s best friend) had finally woke her up because there was one minute left until the bell rang . Looking the board Lexi saw the words “finish book report.” “WHATTTTTT”? She thought to herself.She didn’t even start her book report let alone almost finished it ! Lexi had to get to the library right after school so she could start it! She started to hyperventilate ,but then soon realized It was fall so her mom usually drove her home because it was to cold to walk ! Once she arrived the sign on the front said “Mr. Lindens Library”. “It looks sort of creepy.” She mumbled under her breath. As she walked in she realized this was no ordinary library.It was covered with spider webs, weird candles , and dark hallways leading to a secret chamber that held monsters and ghosts like the movies! Lindens gave her a form to fill out just in case anything happens to her because of the book. Lexi thought this was a tiny bit unusual but she didn’t mind. After she filled out the form Mr.Lindens warned her about the book saying “it will put you in danger. Please don’t get it!” . She didn’t care and checked it out anyway. That was typical stubborn Lexi. That night after dinner she curled up in bed and started to read “Forever in a Jungle”. It was all about a jungle with plants that killed every animal that came near it. “Yikes!” Lexi thought. Then ,Lexi soon drifted off to sleep still holding the book……. Suddenly vines slowly crept out of the book!One by one creeping up Lexi's body like little slimy snakes. But the worst part was,she was still asleep! She was helpless!. He had warned her about the book. Now it was too late. . The vines were now completely wrapped around her body. There was sadly no hope for her now. Just then Mr.Lindens appeared out of nowhere! He started to cut the vicious vines off her body. It was a tough task at hand ,but he barely managed to get them off! He then gave her some sort of medicine that wakes people up , and Lexi soon awoke and thanked Mr.Lindens greatly!
