Eunice Kennedy Shriver A role model is a person who you look up to. A person that you want to follow the footsteps in. Eunice kennedy Shriver should be the top role model because she believed in justice, she was humble and kind, and she was very helpful to strangers that were in need. Action Plan # 1 Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown Through group discussion it was decided that the first course of action would be to show support to Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown. The group deliberated that the strategy needed to support Assemblywoman Brown was to design a letter of support directed at her efforts. This letter was considered beneficial as it would promote Assembly Bill 1584 with the goal to show Assemblywoman Brown that this group is in favor of reinstating the cost-of-living adjustment and increasing the monthly payments that recipients of the Social Security Income and State Supplementary Program currently receive. Since consensus was reached, a letter was drafted for Assemblywoman Brown.

Ratifying Constitution “Should we amend the Articles of confederation or ratify the Constitution?”the men is the 2nd continental congress thought. At this time in America colonial leaders were seeing gigantic problems in the Articles of Confederation, so some wanted to change it, while others wanted to create a whole new government. They need to ratify the Constitution, because the Articles of Confederation had too weak of a central government, checks and balances kept power equal through the 3 branches of government, and 2 houses of representatives, one based on state's population and the other had equal representatives from each state making it fair.
Being a “great man” who is a great leader requires that one be willing to do what is lawfully right when his or her personal feelings might not align with the laws. An example of President Bush doing what is mandated by the state when his heart saw “right” as something entirely different, is in the case of Karla Faye Tucker. Tucker was facing the death penalty for multiple murders. In The Leadership Genius of George W. Bush, Thompson and Ware dictate a letter that Faye wrote to the then governor of Texas, George W. Bush, in a desperate plea to pardon her execution. Karla revealed her dramatic change in character due to her salvation and belief in Jesus Christ.
The engineer I am most like with is Sandra Begay-Campbell, a civil engineer. When Sandra was a child, she stated that she was very interested in architecture, as am I. In addition, she also declared that she was well-rounded in math and problem-solving, something I believe I possess as well. Both of these reasons contributed to her pursuing engineering. The final reason why we are alike is because she mentions that she enjoys watching movies, of which I enjoy too in my free-time.
One leader can change how a region, or group of people think, but many leaders can make an entire country question itself. A group called the abolitionist did just this. The abolitionist held many leaders such as Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln and many more. All of these people held specific qualities that set them apart as ideal leaders and spokespeople. One of these leaders was Harriet Tubman, born as a slave she had great initiative and courage as she not only escaped slavery but returned to plantations to sneak off more and more slaves.

Imagine being a slave at such a young age and having to learn many things so early in life but later help you when you are older well that is what happened to Harriet Tubman, she wouldn’t stop until she would be able to save any slave she saw. The biography, “Harriet Tubman: Conductor of the Underground Railroad” by Ann Petry is about a slave who learned many skills as a child that would teach her to defend herself. She learned these many skills from her father when she was 6 years old. These skills would later come in handy for her when she is older. She would use these skills later to save many slaves from their owners and escape from slavery for good.
