. Bullying takes place every day all around the world and has become a serious problem over the years as more and more students are getting bullied at school, home, or in a community. In extreme cases, childrens can become suicidal as a result of bullying, while in other cases, it can get out of hand and lead to the bully murdering their victim.Victims of bullying are hit, pushed, and harassed. The parents, teachers, and our community need to take action against bullying, to decrease the rates of bullying in schools, homes, or in community. Bullying can be traumatizing and can really affect the childrens in the future. Some people don't take this issue seriously because they don't think bullying is a problem. Bullying is associated with increases in suicide risk in young people who are victims of bullying. As well as increases in depression and other problems associated with suicide, depression is a major factor for suicide. Bullying has long term effects on suicide risk and mental health that can carry on into adulthood.Children who are victims have to live with short term and long term consequences of the bullying. Dr. Andre Sourander(2016) implied “Studies have found a link between bullying and a higher risk of mental health problems during childhood, such as low self-esteem, poor school performance, depression, and an increased risk for suicide,”(Dr, Andre Sourander,2018). Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo, in 1999, where Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed 11 students, one teacher and wounded 23 others.
