looking for a college can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be if you know what you're looking for. A few things to think about are majors, tuition, and scholarships.
A Major is your focus of study and what good amount of your classes are going to revolve around. There are many majors out there some examples include, education, law, business, and medicine, the list goes on and on. You do have some time to decide what major is for you due to the fact that most college give you till sophomore year to declare a major. In terms of what you should pick is something that is interesting for you so you want to be say a teacher then education would probably be the way to go. However, Most majors don’t coincide with a specific job they usually cover a whole range of possible jobs. There are a lot of factors that go into that price, one being whether you're going to a school in state or out of state because schools will charge you more if you're coming from a state other than the one the college is in. Meaning it’s cheaper to go to a school in the state you live in. Another factor is what type of school is it because state college are going to be way cheaper than a ivy league college like yale. If your planing to live on campus, which you may be required to freshman year that's another $10,000 or so for room and board.
