Love can be chaotic and confusing, but it can also be joyous and unforgettable. Love is chaotic in the sense of a persons thoughts going crazy when they’re in love. Getting in an argument and saying the meanest things possible and still care greatly for another, is what some people would define as love. The dictionary defines love as an intense attraction towards someone, or something.The ancient Greeks put love into 3 separate categories: Storge love, Phileo love, and Eros love. Storge love is the love that parents have for their children, or the love a child has for their parents. The love that family members feel for each other, or the love someone would have for their best friend. This can also be described as unconditional love. Storge love is developed over many years. It is the yearning for a unique bond with another person. For example, when we’ve had a long day at work or school, we want someone to talk to about how our day went. We want to tell that person everything about our day, and unleash our innermost thoughts. We want that catharsis so we don’t have a bunch of pent up emotions. Phileo love gives you that connection with someone. To break it down to the simplest factor, it just having someone to talk to. Phileo love is about the connection you feel towards people with similar interest, social group and style as you. You wouldn't trust someone you don't have anything in common with. However, some view Phileo love as negative because it’s exclusive and conditional. Meaning it requires you to have a reason for your trust in them. You love them, but other under certain circumstances. In contrast, Phileo love does require one to have a certain set of characteristics for that love to be fulfilled, which does make it
