Imagine waking up in the morning and rolling over in bed to see the most beautiful person laying on the opposite side. With morning confusion finally clearing, the smile of realization crosses over a face so bright. The person tucked under the covers is soundly asleep while events from the night before come flooding back into memory. Though the previous night was a wild one, the happiness that radiates through one’s body is the reason a heart will remain to beat. Looking down at the silhouette under the sheets, the desire to never leave that bed crosses through thoughts twirling in an imagination so vivid. Lust is basically wanting a sexual relationship only. There is nothing wrong with occasionally lusting after someone, but love is the most essential component for any true relationship. If one is simply lusting after a partner, the future will never even come up. Typically, when a relationship is built off of lust, the people involved live by a day to day basis. There is little to no planning involved and encounters are usually just a text away. Unlike lust, the future is majorly considered for a couple in love. When in love couples usually go on many dates that are thoroughly planned out and they consider each other before making plans. Another difference between love and lust is the feelings that are involved. When in lust the topic of most conversations will be sex or topics relating to sex, but no real feelings will be disclosed. Then when things finally do lead to sex, lustful people often leave each other right after the encounter. On the contrary, couples in love can lose hours discussing feelings and other random topics. People in love do occasionally involve themselves in sexual activities, but afterwards the couple will spend hours cuddling and enjoying each other’s company. Also the difference of attraction is very obvious between love and lust. Being in love means that the attraction should be based on someone’s mind and their values along with their physical appearance. However, lust is purely a physical attraction.
