Who wants a quality education but just cannot afford? Where do people want to start their career? These questions become more intense during high school. Most people know that to have a career, they must have a college education. But college has major obstacles itself such as financial distress. A normal college tuition would cost tens of thousands of dollars; therefore, most students cannot afford it. Colleges should lower the cost of tuition.
To begin with, most people who seek a career must obtain some sort of degree regarding the work. Therefore, they must attend and graduate from a college. Scholarships are usually given to those who excel in sports or academics which in turn takes of most or all the burden school costs bring; however, an average student has a lessened chance of receiving a decent scholarship. Some ways the education system is to lower parts of a college ratio to where it is enough and not overly crowded. Most books that are bought are usually new, there should be a book rental that could be rented for the school year but if damaged would have to be replaced. “The average textbook budget is $1,200 a year now” (College 7). Staff and faculty should be paid fairly but not overpaid- meaning they deserve all the benefits and a good salary but not over what is considered too much. Each college level like community and Division 1 professors would be expected to have different pay but a local college should not be paid what a university would be given. There should be open doors to earn different types of scholarships. Primary and middle schools who are given more money than they need should send it back to the government, so it can be given to other places such as colleges. Everyone should be given an equal chance to excel but most do not have the tools they need to work towards their goals and these solutions are some of many that would help those who need
