Wadiya Fanous Mr. Landrith APUSH 5th 7 November 2017 DBQ- Political Participation Participation in political campaigns and elections in the United States between 1815 and 1840 contributed to maintaining continuities, such as the continuing prominence of political parties, and fostering change, through increased male suffrage and the emphasis on appealing to a large group of voters when campaigning. The United States was established as a country based on democracy, led by the policies outlined in the constitution. The people were able to vote for representatives, which are then placed in the senate or the house of representatives.
My assignment for the writing 101 group project was to present how to conduct an interview. The information for this presentation came from The Curious Researcher by Bruce Ballinger. My group consisted of five people, we all would present this topic together. Knowing that we had a big group for a relatively small presentation, we had to divide the groups roles up very evenly so everyone could participate. This was the first thing we did as a group.

In completing the assessment I was able to identify areas for improvement. Previous to taking this test, I had an idea of what it would likely say I need to improve on, vulnerability. The assessment showed me that I have opportunities to develop my vulnerability. I struggle with being vulnerable personally and also dealing with those who are vulnerable around me. This is something that I want to focus on, to become the transformational leader I strive to be.
In what ways might numerical scores be considered valid and reliable. When might these results not be appropriate, meaningful, and useful? Name one source of error that might result in the non-reliability of standardized tests? How do norm and criterion-referenced tests

Today, I attended the meeting called Caitlyn Jenner and the Trans Experience. In the meeting there were 5 psychologist professors who were discussing and informing the audience about the process of transgender, and now a days it is hard for people to expect the reality. The public speaking in the meeting was different because each panelist had 5 minutes to inform the audience about their knowledge and the challenges people face during the transgender process. The discussion was open minded and everyone had an opportunity to get involved.

The purpose of group learning and development is to ensure that all learning styles are catered for and the ultimate goal of sharing knowledge is achieved. When using a group to deliver something new each individual can call on a fellow participant to confirm understanding. 1.2 Explain why delivery of learning and development must reflect group dynamics When delivering to a group it is important to consider, what is the normal behaviour within the group? Who plays what role?
Understanding and change were the main themes at an impassioned town hall discussion on Anti-Semitism at the University of Wisconsin. The town hall took place Tuesday night at Gordon Dining and Events Center. The discussion was planned in response to photos that appeared on the door of a student in Sellery Residence Hall. The photos were of an anti-Semitic nature, and when they went viral, people began to question the university’s response.
My self-perception is that I have that deer in a headlight look to myself when I’m in an uncomfortable position. These are things to remember for when I have to interview for a job, that what I may think and feel, isn’t always reality. Last semester I had two group presentations. I am sure that there will be more of them so this class has prepared me to feel more comfortable and be more prepared for when the time comes.
He knew moving away from home was not a good idea. His mother definitely knew that her little boy moving away from home, her, and everything that he knew and loved was not just a “not good” idea, it was a horrible one. So she was trying to get him to stop. Yet he was leaving for the other side of the country anyways. William didn 't know why he felt such a strong urge to move to a little island off of New Jersey, and even though his mother was upset and didn 't want him to, she still taught him to always follow his gut instinct.
