In the Spring/Summer term of 2012, I started my journey as a library and information science professional with Wayne State University’s School of Library and Information Science. For my PowerPoint tutorial assignment in LIS 7410, Software Productivity Tools for Information Professionals, I created a video tutorial that demonstrated to users step-by-step how to incorporate SmartArt graphics in PowerPoint presentations in order to increase the visual depth for presentations given in library staff workshops, public library classes, or staff meetings.
