From the time I was young until now, it has become a clear fact that I catch on to things quickly. After preschool, instead of going through kindergarten, I went straight to first grade. I excelled through primary school and middle school, always making high marks. I continued on my academic streak throughout high school, even while taking honors classes, AP classes, participating in two varsity sports, being a part of four organizations, and working a part-time job. Likewise, I completed over an entire semester of college while still in high school. With that in mind, I began attending MTSU at the age of seventeen and will graduate only four months after my twentieth birthday. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while being involved in many things on campus. I work as the social media manager for the women’s soccer team and also give tours of MTSU to prospective students. I am a member of Alpha Chi Omega and Lambda Sigma Honors Society, both which require that I complete over forty hours of community service per semester while also attending weekly meetings. These countries are all on different continents and are all so different from each other. While in these countries I learned how to effectively communicate with the natives and to respect their way of living as it was very different from my own.
Additionally, while in those foreign countries, I was travelling with high school classes and continuously learning new things, as they were primarily academic trips. I absorbed everything I was taught and still remember it to this day. My ability to retain the knowledge I gained on these trips allowed me to exceed beyond my peers in the classroom setting.
