Manco Abbott is having a difficult time with the use of social media, if used improperly it can cause a lot of damage to the company. Social media is a good way to get a company's name out there and attract a lot of potential customers. Not only are they having problems with social media, but the company is also having a difficult time with management in the Bakersfield area. With the ever changing job market it is hard to employ good managers, but their are solutions to make their selection process easier along with how the company adjusts the the rise of social media.

Create accounts with all social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
All of the social media pages should have the same overall theme and message to promote the business, nothing presented on the sites should come from personal opinions.
Go through a list of emails and invite current partners and residents to follow the newly created social media accounts for the business.
Some individuals may not have those accounts, so offer them some sort of incentive to create one and follow your business on it.
Incentives can include something along the lines of a discount code for one of the stores in a shopping center Manco operates.

Managers should set realistic goals for their employees so that they can be obtained. There should be goals set everyday by property managers that the community manager implements. These goals include budgeting, resident occupancy, and the daily financial operations.
Measuring employee performance using both qualitative and quantitative measures to monitor performance allows employees to understand that achieving a high level of performance is critical to obtain success for the company.
Feedback will help employees understand their performance levels and better themselves by learning from their mistakes. The resident relations coordinator should establish weekly meetings to address weekly issues on their agenda.
Coaching and development improves employees knowledge and expertise through training courses and new assignments to achieve self development and acquire work related skills. There should be a corporate goals retreat for the community manager and staff to discuss ideas on how to deal with problems more efficiently.
Recognizing an employee's work and accomplishments strengthens their commitment to perform at the highest level.
There should be events such as an annual banquet where awards like “Employee of the Year” are given out to the best performers in each
