Since obesity and other health related risks are on the rise, Millennials have become more self-aware about their health. They believed adapting healthier habits in their routine, such as eating smarter and exercising daily. These people are consumers who are mindful of their everyday products and where they buy these products. They usually buy products that are labeled eco-friendly or organic at certain grocery stores such as Traders’ Joes or Whole Foods. The experience of grocery shopping has overall changed to cater to new consumer demographics compared to past decades. More cities like Chicago, has released a plastic bag tax to reduce the number of plastic bags, more consumers are bringing their own bags to grocery stores.
