Nearly every day on T.V. people talk of athletes and celebrities as being heroes, but are they? To put it mildly, they are not heroes at all. They are role models, but for the most part, not in possession of heroic qualities. Policeman and fireman are at times classified as heroes. Until they prove themselves they are there just ordinary people. If a people are always worried about themselves then how are they supposed to influence others? A hero is someone you look up to and may could be someone you want to be like when you get older. For example, some people want to be like artist or a singer.
