Danny Harold Rolling is also known, as the Gainesville Ripper was an American serial killer who murdered five students at the University of Florida. Danny was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 26th 1954. His dad James was abusive from the start of his birth. His father was also a police officer. His father also abused his mom Claudia and brother Kevin.
Growing up was unfair for MLK JR. He and every other african american citizen had been treated unfairly. They had been segregated and hated, but why? They only difference is their skin color, their all the same on the inside. MLK knew that it was wrong to have segregation.

Martin Luther King Jr was a upstander because he believed in all people should be treated the same. An upstander is when a person stands up for people than cannot stand up for themselves. He was the second child to a family of three born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929. At the age 15 he was going to college at Morehouse College where he received a degree in sociology.
Born in January 1929, Martin Luther King Jr. grew up to become one of the world's most-known civil rights activists, tremendously changing America for the better. As an African American, Martin Luther King Jr. experienced immense hatred in America during the civil rights movement. Little did he know that he would grow up to be one of the most influential civil rights activists in the world. On April 4, 1968, just after 6 p.m., Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was fatally shot while standing on the balcony outside of his second story room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN. Dr. King was in Memphis supporting a sanitation workers’ strike and was on his way to dinner when a bullet suddenly struck him in the jaw, while he was on the balcony (Day). The bullet struck him in the right jaw, severed his spine and came to rest in his shoulder blade. MLK 50th Celbration This event was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr. visiting Sacramento State's campus and giving a speech. Sacramento state was the only California State University that Martin Luther King visited. This mainly was because he was not welcomed at the other universities.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was arrested for protesting the treatment of blacks in Birmingham, Alabama. The court had issued an order that King wasn’t allowed to hold protest in Birmingham. Everything was separated between the blacks and whites. The blacks were only allowed to sit in certain areas from businesses, churches, libraries; they weren’t even allowed to use public restrooms. Everywhere that the blacks went they were at a constant discrimination and a threat of violence.

Therefore, Ku Klux Klan who thinks that Martin Luther king crosses the line, and he has no right to seek for human right in U.S because they think that America is only for white people. However, all humans have freedom of speech, and Dr. Martin risks his life to bring justice and equal right for African-American people. Dr. Martin is a good example for people because he was very strong to let the world know how important seeking for equal right and access for a higher and better life in the U.S. First of all, proponents claim that Martin Luther King is one of the bravest men in world because he kept raising his voice to all people with no fear asking for peace between the African-American and white people.
Everything in your life is all tied together somehow. The past and the present are intertwined and everything is connected. The past helps us learn from our mistakes, and we grow as people because of our past. To some, past memories can hinder them from prospering in their present life.
