Everything in your life is all tied together somehow. The past and the present are intertwined and everything is connected. The past helps us learn from our mistakes, and we grow as people because of our past. To some, past memories can hinder them from prospering in their present life. To others, past memories are learning experiences and you use those memories to help you succeed in the present. We all have had personal experiences that have either helped us succeed, or have hindered us from succeeding. Most motivational speakers are another great example of succession after overcoming tough times because they get the motivation from their life experiences and turn it into a great way to influence and motivate others.

On her YouTube Channel she made a video talking about her difficult past that she has had to suppress to become the person she is today. Salice Rose has gone through depression, the tragic loss of her best friend to suicide, and abuse, and other unfortunate events. In addition, she admits that at one point she did let her past hinder her. However, she told herself that the only way to get better, and the only person that can help her, is herself. She picked herself up and know she says that her past, and everything in her life happens for a reason. She became a stronger person because of what she has gone through. Salice Rose got herself all the way to the top, and gave a name to herself because of all the determination and willpower she has. Many people, especially the younger generation, look up to her because of her life story and how she chose to turn her life upside down and learn from her past to be able to move on with her present and future
