In today's media, society has taken a turn for the worse as news sources are now taking sides and countless others are misinforming many. This all began due to the current circumstances of the online world. Numerous people have the freedom to post anything and everything they want, whether true or not. Media outlets and tech companies should be spreading news that would either promote or help their companies in a good way rather than a bad way, like spreading misinformed news. Companies will try to do anything in order to be the best, even if it costs informing consumers. Consumers can do their research online and look at other sources and compare these sources to see if any media is fake or biased. Fake news affects people in so many ways. The spread of fake news can economically affect many, and mentally as many will quickly turn to the news. Media bias can affect people mentally by not knowing who to trust and this issue would end up dividing many up causing many controversial ideas.
