3.1 Introduction
Methodology Definition: Methodology can be simply put as methods employed to collect data for a particular study, area, or concept (Merriam dictionary).
This research has been conducted to analyse the impact of social media on brands and case study incorporated with this theme is British Airways. British Airways being premium airline has been seeing low of since its high in 2009. The company is tying up with different companies to regain its lustre and have innovative and creative ideas that can boon the airline. This study is conducted in the light of mixed research method, which required pragmatic approach. Pragmatic approach renders practical approach to a study.
3.3 Appropriateness of research Design The research design is descriptive with approach as mixed with research philosophy as pragmatic. As this study induces both qualitative and quantitative methodology, the literature below illustrates why this research design is appropriate for this study.
