Study Title Middle school students need to learn the value of physical education. When these students increase their fitness they reduce their stress and improve their attention span which is directly connected to learning. In general, exercise helps to improve cognitive function by suppling more blood and oxygen to the brain. Students in middle school receive most of their exercise in physical education classes (PE) by interacting with their peers playing games. These games may consist of, football, basketball, volleyball or soccer. But what about the students who do not show an interest in participating in group activities such as sports. What alternative strategy can middle school physical education teachers create to get them involved and create a lifelong habit of exercising and eating heathy? The title of my study will be called,” Alternate ways for middle school students to achieve exercise”.
Purpose
The purpose of the study will be to find alternative strategies or methods for all middle school students, so they will participate and embrace in physical fitness to maintain healthy habits in their adult years.
