Have you ever eaten a bag of chips, and felt good about your body, not likely. Many studies have shown that 53% of students play sports actively on a daily schedule. But, if you don't play an active sport, here is a way you can at Harmony Middle School. The issue we have at Harmony is we don't have enough school sports. We should encourage more activity at Harmony, because it promotes healthy lifestyle. It is not only healthy to eat good, but it is also is great to workout daily and strengthen your body. Especially while you are growing in middle school and you are growing up into adulthood.

Studies have shown that 90% of smokers, and alcohol addictions started smoking in middle school. Middle school addictions started because the students did not have healthy choices, lifestyle, or decisions. Where you make change usually starts in middle school, and if you don't make the change you have aimed for then you make bad decisions. A way for all the student to build up a healthy lifestyle is to have them get into sports which will be attended by every student a certain time …show more content…

A lot of students do not push themselves, because they are with their friends in physical education class. After school sports, supporting your middle school will help you release stress after school, and boost up your energy levels. Especially because 30 percent of teens reported feeling sad or depressed because of stress and 31 percent felt overwhelmed. Another 36 percent said that stress makes them tired and 23 percent said they've skipped meals because of it. This is very unhealthy for kids our age, and a way for this to stop is with more activity physically after school, then working your brain the whole day, and then getting home eating bad, and sitting on the couch. In all that can pile up and lead to obesity or even more stress, along with the school work already given
