These schools are provided with school books, proper equipment, and sanitary conditions. The children of East St. Louis Senior High School, as well as other high schools in East St. Louis, are well aware of the existence of these schools and are obviously upset by the deplorable conditions of their own school. The next school that Kozol visits is Clark Junior High School. Kozol explains that the conditions of these schools are managed by state funding, and the governor of Missouri does not want to keep “dumping money” into the school district and believes that he cannot help a school district that will not help themselves. The children of these schools, however, realize that the money that funds their schools and the money that funds other schools in the state is very different.
Growing up in a lower to middle-class environment, my educational experiences were very split from year to year. I attended Eagle Elementary in Medford, New York. Medford is very diverse in terms of economic and racial status so our classrooms were filled with different cultures and ideals. Attending a “high need” school district has provided me with opportunities and resources that Alejandro did not receive. My district offered inclusion classrooms throughout elementary and middle school, and received grants in order to better support our English Language Learners and their needs.

The fourth finding I found was that even though Pre-K environments have an emphasis on group activities there was often a designated area in the classroom where children could go and be alone and self-reflect. However, these spaces were used differently throughout the three programs. In one program children went to what they called the “cool down chair” when they misbehaved. In this particular program usually a talkative child who may have been disruptive would have to go to the chair and think about what he or she did wrong. The chair was located in a corner where there were crayons and other play items that the child was allowed to use, but mainly it was a sort of punishment.

Riverbend High School and Woodrow Wilson High School have both similarities but also, many differences. For starters, Woodrow Wilson High has a very low budget, therefore, the school isn't able to afford essential school supplies such as books, calculators and definitely no means of having technology. Meanwhile, Riverbend High has all the essential needs , even chromebooks, computers and smartboards. Although there are many more differences between the two schools, one similarity is that both schools have teachers that care about us. For example, at WWHS the teacher Ms.Gruwell believes in her students and was very patient with them.
The concert I attended was the Winter Concert at Cabrillo Middle School in the school cafeteria. They had two directors; Miss Pamela Page directing the Advanced Band, Advanced Orchestra, and Concert Choir and Mr. David Anderson directing the Beginning Band and Beginning Orchestra. The Beginning Band was pretty big and had a lot of people in each group of instruments. You couldn’t see the Beginning Orchestra because they were in the back, but they had enough people that you could hear them.
Omission from the Book The Marauder’s Map In the film, Harry takes “The Marauder’s Map” from Fred and George. It magically reveals the location of every person at Hogwarts in real-time. In the book we learn that The Marauders were a group of troublemakers comprise of James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew and Remus Lupin, who created the map, so they could prowl around Hogwarts and go along with Lupin at nights when he turned into a werewolf. Why Has the Part Been Cut?
Should middle school students have recess? Middle school students should not have recess at all. This is because they need to grow and mature, they could get distracted from their missing work, and there is more of a chance to get hurt. You may think differently, but there is no denying the facts that prove my opinion. Middle school is a time in a kids life where they have more responsibilities, yet still are allowed to be a child.
In my last week in Wilkinson Middle School I was observing Classroom Procedures .Ms. Culberson is a very fun teacher but she is really strict in every one that enters her classroom knows that .Ms. Culberson might not be in the class whenever the bell rings but her students know to start in the bell ringer. She times her student and they all have to work quickly and quietly. They grade the bell ringer after words she asks for their grade and they have to say it out loud.
This is the ninth week of my observation at Baker High School. On Monday, the students started off class with doing their bell ringer. The students defined the key terms for chapters 4 and 5. After completing their bell ringer the cooperating teacher began her lecture and power point on Managing Stress and Coping with loss. The students also took notes while she gave her lecture.

Over the past few months, the class has been discussing typical and atypical language development and the assessment and intervention of children with language delay or disorder. In line with this, the students were asked to observe children aged 0-12 years old with language problems for 2 hours. For this requirement, I went to a therapy center situated in Quezon City last November 16, from ten (10) A.M. to twelve (12) N.N. The center has multiple rooms that are used for speech therapy and occupational therapy. During my observation, two speech pathologists and two children with language disorder were sharing one speech therapy room.
OVERVIEW The elementary school that I observed at, Orchard View Elementary, was located in Delray Beach, FL. The location was very accessible and right off of the highway. The teacher I got assigned to was Ms. Diann Johnson. She teaches a class for students in 3rd-5th grade.
The class consists of main teacher, one co-teacher, and 20 students without any special needs or disabilities (14 girls 6 boys). The difference between the general classroom and the special education classroom that was the students very quiet and didn 't make a lot of noise like in the special education classroom. The classroom was very small for 22 students. I was surprised when I entered the general classroom. all the girls in the front and all the boys were back.
