Starting off the book 6 characters are mentioned right away. Miles the main fictional character and his parents along with Marie and Will. Miles is transferring to a boarding school in Alabama from Florida. His parents encourage him to through a going away party and invite everyone from school. That is Miles problem, bullying and friends, Miles doesn’t really have any friends which is why he is going to a new school.
