The following PhD proposal consists of seven main sections, which are: the background of the study, the statement of the problem, the purpose of the study, and the research questions guiding my study. Then the definition of the terms will proceed, where the workable definitions for my study will be identified; the sixth section will comprise the description of my research methodology, and it will be followed by the estimation of possible limitations of my research.
Background of the study
This sections includes brief explanation of the prerequisites which urged me to explore my topic, and the brief literature review, partially adapted from my Master's thesis.

The outcome of the project will be the list of cogent solutions and techniques, which will help to eradicate or, at least, mitigate these challenges in the embryotic state, and according to which mentors can prepare student-teachers during their pre-service teacher training.

During the first stage the researcher via the focus group interviews with mentors elaborates the list of the most efficient techniques during their mentoring experiences. When the items are ready, the researcher will divide them according to expected five categories, where four of them will represent basic types of pedagogic knowledge, revealed by Shulman (1986). These categories of knowledge comprise pedagogical knowledge (classroom management, instructional support etc.), content knowledge (knowledge of a discipline per se), pedagogical content knowledge (the adjustment of a factual knowledge to the teaching context, i.e. adjusting the program in accordance with the learning outputs), and curricular knowledge (knowledge which helps the teacher to pigeonhole the teaching program into the apt topics according to the particular level) (Shulman, 1986; 1987).
