“Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope.
Sometimes people get motivated in different ways, but some people have similar motivations. The motivation can be a quote, a goal, or something else. Hannah Herbst wanted to help people. She was motivated by the fact that she could help other people and do it with something she likes, specifically science. Alexander Hamilton wanted to help his country and the people in it.
People are always trying to motivate themselves, whether they are trying to better themselves or trying to better others around them. Motivation is one of the keys for people succeeding because it is a crucial element of attaining goals and also makes people desire to accomplish or do something. There are many reasons why people gain motivation, everything from someone having a lifelong goal that they desire to accomplish, to other people making someone want to accomplish or do something. One example might be a baseball player; this baseball player has dreams of becoming a professional, so these dreams are his motivation to practice so that he can become a professional player. All parents tell their kids to set goals and work to achieve them. But they do not tell them that it will happen in a short amount of time. Similarly, Siddhartha has a goal of reaching enlightenment that he strives to achieve. Hermann Hesse's novel Siddhartha, Andreas Rottenschlager´s ¨Thinking Warm Thoughts¨, and Mike Moraitis´ ¨Kurt Warner's Grocery-Store Checker to NFL MVP Story a Tale of Perseverance¨ exemplify the lesson that reaching a goal is not an overnight process.
The Greek language began with the alphabet. According to Simon Price and Peter Thonemann, the Greeks were the first civilization to use the alphabet. The Greek alphabet influenced our language in many ways. For example, “alphabet” is from the first two letters of the Greek alphabet “alpha” and “beta”. Also, many letters of our modern day alphabet originate from the Greek alphabet such as the letters A,B,E, and O. The Greek alphabet evolved over several centuries, and by the 5th century BC, it used 24 letters - 17 consonants, and 7 vowels.
Activity theory, as interpreted by Ph.D. candidates, Wardle and Kain, is a process that attempts to see all aspects of activity such as social interactions and use of writing and language to achieve goals. This theory is award winning. Activity theory states that for a system to be effective, the rules, community, subject, division of labor, and motives must be reasonable. These components are shown through the chosen tool of communication most often. When one area of the system is corrupted, the tool will no longer function correctly in order to communicate or achieve its goals.
It's not just a goal, it's what I know will happen because when I set out to do something I strive to follow it through until the end. It's my determination that's gotten me this far and will continue to push me farther until I one day achieve what I’ve set out to do in life. Someone close to me once told me, you express the truth of your character with the choice of your actions, meaning people will see the real you through what you do. For the majority of my seventeen years, I can honestly say I didn’t always live by this. But there came a time when I realized in order to be anything of importance in this world, I needed to focus on me, my life and my future first and foremost before I could help others.
I used her Teddy bear as a prop to tell stories. She will not let me do this anymore; however, I should try and see if she’ll at least let me spend 5 minutes every discussing life. The foundation for motivation has to be built on a sound ethical identity to be effective. Inspiration is good for motivation, but she needs practical steps to follow with that internal motivation. That’s where there is a link to goals.

Daily challenges move us in the direction of huge success that may currently seem distant. When we are enthusiastic about finishing our goals every single day, we are slowly taking steps that are taking us to our larger idea of success. “I don’t run away from a challenge because I am afraid. Instead, I run towards it because the only way to escape fear is to trample it beneath your foot.’’ -Nadia
(Salancik & Pfeffer, 1977) a study found that the use of the “word” goal indicates to an individual that a task is achievable. This study stresses the use of the word “goal” has a positive impact on motivation, a point held by the goal setting theory. This could therefore be applied to my EPP experience with the use of the word goal being used to describe objectives and aspirations of the organisation. However, within my time at the organisation goal setting theory was not always described as goals we needed to achieve, this may have intern limited the possible motivation given to tasks. Some goals set were not being achieved, which counters goal setting theories stance on setting achievable goals.
