It is with great thought, and precise configuration to make a decision upon which career best suits me. In the long, vigorous research hours that has been dedicated towards finding the perfect career for me, I have happily come to the conclusion that I want to pursue the career of a surgeon. This career will easily meet my environmental needs, and it will provide a dependable income aided by promotions and benefits; furthermore, the career of a surgeon can provide me with a feeling of fulfillment. I believe this career is a perfect fit, and I couldn't feel anymore confident in my decision to chase this dream of becoming a surgeon. Currently, I find myself involved in so many volunteering activities, such as Key Club, along with the opportunity
I have always wanted to be a surgeon since I was a kid. Doctors were treated like gods in my home country, Ethiopia. I was a shy little boy who dreamt big in my neighborhood and people would make fun of my goal due to the fact that there were no doctors in our neighborhood. They believed that I was not smart and strong enough to be a doctor. Besides my mother and aunt, nobody knew what I was capable of.
Saige Beard 10/29/15 3rd Block For my occupation, I chose a Naval Aviator. The reasons why I initially selected this career is because it is by far the most exciting job to do in the entire world. Not a lot of people get to fly at speeds of 1,000 mph! There are many skills necessary to become a successful pilot in the Navy.
Focus 2 Assignment – Reflection Upon completing the Focus 2 career assessment program, I am quite impressed at the quality of information it presents. It allowed me to not only look at careers that would fit my personality, but also those that take into consideration the fields I am already interested in. Also, as with any form of self-assessment, there were strengths and weaknesses that I did not expect based on how I feel I live my life currently. Beginning chronologically, the program had me complete two subjective, current measures of my professional career.
Career Exploration Paper The three occupations that I have chosen for this exploration are: data analyst, software engineer, and financial analyst. Data analysts, software engineers, and financial analysts all have varied skill sets and knowledge requirements, but all have the potential to be meaningful and successful careers. Data analysts examine data sets to find trends, gain insights, and develop strategies to assist businesses in making better decisions. Software engineers create, develop, and maintain software systems, frequently working on projects from beginning to end.
At a young age, we are all asked the same unfathomable question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” A princess, a pilot, or a police officer are the conventional conceived replies. However, in my case, I knew from the beginning I wanted to be a veterinarian. Not only did I extrapolate this from my passion for animals but also my desire to lend a helping hand to people too . Of course, I did not know where my dreams would come true nor the full impact I wished to make on this world, but I know now that Colorado State University is the preeminent place to turn my seemingly insurmountable dreams into reality.
Careers – Writing Project Reflection The assignment in Careers that I was given was a writing project. The writing project had three parts within it, which included; providing evidence of brainstorming, completing the Writing as a Process lesson activity from Plato, and last but not least, writing a three-page essay, which could be more for extra credit. Primarily, everyone was given the choice to pick a topic that they believe is highly important or is causing an impact in the real world, whether it is a person, such as a celebrity, a historical figure, a politician, etc., or whether it is an issue related to health, the environment, the government, etc.
A career such as engineering is something I’ve seriously considered in that aspect. Thankfully, my courses in and out of school have pushed my life in the right direction.
I would like to study science and then continue that career somehow in the military. As a young adult I realize I will have to pay bills such as a car and insurance and the only way to pay for these things would to be to have a part-time job. I would love to be employed at Game Stop some where I love to shop for my hobby of playing video games. I know and realize that over time things can change and maybe in 10 years this blueprint may not be anything like the path that I take, but I pray that I still follow God and have my parents by

As a young teenager, I was lost on what I wanted to do as an adult. What was my path? Was I going to be a doctor? A lawyer? I had no idea.
The people who have helped me in my life to make my life as a student easier, would have to be my teachers. Throughout my high school life, i have always been able to go to these people and ask for assistance and guidance during my school career. They were the ones who welcomed me in, when I came to the school as a Grade 9 student, and the ones who are saying farewell to me as I begin to graduate. The relationships that i have made with numerous of these teachers, is the reason I got up, and enjoyed going to school day after day. The teachers went above and beyond there duties as teachers, and became someone I could call a friend.
In this essay, not only will I write about about what I want for myself in my forthcoming life, but also of what I’m doing now to achieve it Though I’m not sure of what I want to be when I grow up, I am almost positive I want to work in the medical field because, I enjoy the idea of knowing that someone is simply better off because of my assistance. I also aspire to attend Ohio State University because
1.) My dream job throughout my childhood has always been to do something to help people. There was always and still is a variety of choices to choose from such as a teacher, counselor, social worker and many more. My dream profession after careful thought and consideration is to be a social worker but I would like to expand on it and open up my own foster home. I would like to open up my own foster home to take care, to help, and give the children a safe place to live that can 't get adopted instead of having them on the street or somewhere worse.
