I always underestimated myself as a writer as I considered my writing as “not good enough” However, over the past course I have gained more confidence in my writing as I improved as a writer in various ways.
The improvements in my writing has made my essays better. I have been able to develop strong arguments and thesis. The use of my diction has improved compared to my previous writings. While I compared my writing samples, I have come to realize that my style of developing sentences has improved. As you read my essays you will be able to notice the improvement and growth in my essays. As I was introduced to different ways to conduct an essay, I can build excellent and effective essays. New ideas and perspectives that I have learned that I didn’t know prior to writing in this course are sentences variety and importance of using subornation conjunctions, conjunctive adverbs and translational phrase. As I started to apply these on my essays, my essays became better.

Starting paragraphs in an innovative way such as using hooks, and anecdote will grasp the attention of the audience. Through this course, I have improved in areas such a creating an enchanting hook. Moreover, having a purpose in my essays has helped me write a better paper. With a purpose I was able to express my thoughts and ideas in different ways that had helped me connect with my audiences. Additionally, peer reviews, experiences play a vital role in my growth as a writer through this course. With peer reviews, I had the chance to glance my writings from a different perspective. I was able to improve with their feedbacks. Through this course, I have learned that I repeat the same thoughts in my essay frequently.
