Education Goal: My education goal for the next few years is to receive my associates’ degree at MSU-West Plains. Receiving my associates’ degree will only take me another year and a half of attending college at West Plains. The tuition is $4,892 per year and I will cover the expense through FAFSA and my A+ scholarship. After I graduate with my associates’ degree I plan to transfer to the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. While attending this school, I want to receive my bachelors’ degree in Journalism in order to become a music journalist. The tuition for attending the University of Missouri will cost $9,257 per year. To pay for this I will use FAFSA and I will take out a loan. Measurable- To obtain a job in the journalism field that I want, I will spend a year working as an intern to better my skills and to ensure that I have a good chance at getting hired where ever I choose to apply at. While I am an intern, I also plan to improve my resume and job interview skills since I have a hard time speaking to people who have an authority position.
Attainable- This goal is attainable because right after I graduate from Columbia, I will start applying for internships and I will apply for open positions for the job I want.
Realistic- This goal is realistic for me because I am determined to get hired in the career field that I want. I will work hard and I will schedule everything that I need to do to obtain a job in journalism.
Time management- My goal of finding a career in journalism after I graduate from college should take 3 and a half years to complete. By 2019 I should have obtained the career I want.

While I am still attending school in West Plains, my A+ scholarship will pay for the first two years of college. When I receive my associates’ degree and transfer to Columbia, I will have to use FAFSA and take out a small loan to help pay for the rest. To pay for necessities such as food, toiletries, and gas, I will have to work somewhere part time while I am still in school.
Measurable- This goal is measurable because, “To pay for this (college) I will use FAFSA and I will take out a loan. Besides this, I will also save money from my FAFSA such as $100 per check and I will get a job working part time for minimum wage to save money to pay for college.” I will know when I have accomplished my financial goal when I have graduated from college with only a small loan to pay back.
Attainable- This goal is attainable because I will save $100 hundred every month in order to pay for food and other necessities while I am still attending school. I will save $100 every month by getting a part time job in fast food. In order to pay for college, I just have to make sure that I complete 12 credit hours each semester so that A+ will continue to
