What is personality? Personality is the sum of total ways in which individuals reacts to and interact with others. Personality is the expression of a person’s traits according to ones feelings, mentality, and behavior. It’s an expression from within an individual and is comparatively regular throughout the individuals’ life. Different people have different personality depending on the environment and genetic composition. Some of my personality traits are; ambitious, caring, and adventurous. As an office manager in the healthcare feel my personality and emotions are very important because I’m in contact with different individuals on a daily basis. After taking this test my results showed me that my open-mindedness which tend to be original, creative, curious, and complex if your score is high. My percentile score was a 68, Conscientiousness is a well-organized, reliable, and self –disciplined individual. I had a score of 99, Extraversion is being friendly, enjoy having fun, and talkative my score was an 83, Agreeableness being a good nature person, sympathetic, forgiving, and courteous my score was 93. Overall this personality test showed me that I’m an open, loving, caring, sociable person. This explains why my choice in this professional field as an office manager is a good career choice. Many people tell me that I’m a people’s person and easily to get along with. On the other hand, The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator this personality test taps four characteristics and classifies people into 1 to 16 personality types. After taking this test is showed me that my personality type is (ESFJ-A) Extraverted 54%, Sensing 62%, Feeling 63%, and Judging 88%. The assessment explains similarities to the Big Five Model test that I’m an outgoing, sociable, assertive person. Furthermore, I rely on personal values, emotion, order, and structure. Although the book explains three different possible personality types. I assumes my personality type is one that’s in between. Extraverts tend to be happier in their jobs and lives. These assessment is very much in line with my career path and compatible to my lifestyle. I love my job because I can be sociable and meet new people each day and change lives in the process. The Big Five traits, emotional stability is most strongly related to life satisfaction, job satisfaction, and low stress levels.
