Whether it is assignments, job materials, or daily communication, one should consistently pause to check their work, re-read and consult supplementary materials whenever they feel unsure about their work. Word choice, for example, could cause extreme confusion for the reader and what was a great idea might come across as illogical. Likewise, activities such as reading aloud to one’s self, or having a peer review one’s writing, can vastly decrease the potentially for error. Personally, I practice the latter whenever I have a significant assignment due. I’ll generally consult a trusted peer to proof my work and provided feedback; cloud based tools like google docs can be wonderful for collaboration that produces a successful proofread piece.

CHM1 Task 2 A. Personal Values Here are my four top personal core values. 1. One of my personal core values is honesty. By being honest I gain trust, which matters to me.
Two Paragraphs of Analysis: My characters are represented by their attire, physical attributes, and the things they enjoy doing. Each element and symbol compliment each other to make one whole rounded character. One element that shows a difference between the characters is color; the portrait of me has a variety of colors, while my foil is drawn in black and white. The contrast in color between the portraits show that I am usually optimistic and content while the lack of color in my foils suggests that he is solemn and somber. Additionally, with my foil, he has his hands behind his back, which shows that he is more of a secretive person rather than very sociable.
Proofreading is very important, especially now in today's world. In this modern time where we rely heavily on technology we tend to forget that technology is not always perfect. I'm quite sure that at one point or another we all have fallen prey to the mistake of the "predictive text" on the cell phone. After hitting the "post" button she realized that the phone have changed the word ducks to a more profane word ( replace the "u" in ducks with "i" ).
I generally begin my pre-writing with a healthy dose of procrastination, much like what I am doing right at this very moment. This is unfortunately due to an inherent flaw in my psyche, a crack in my foundation if you will, so there’s not much I can really do about it. I love pre-writing because I get to procrastinate on the actual writing portion by spending a ridiculous amount time on researching and building my outlines. Contrary to what you might think, my prewriting actually tends to be highly organized.

I received a 23/35 on my final essay, which is making me nervous since was aiming for a paper that achieves good grade. I am writing to let you know that, in my opinion I feel that I should deserve a higher mark on my essay. This is because my paper links to the course theme from the textbook. My paper has a thesis statement of what the paper will argue and I have a road map on what my paper will argue.
