As I anticipate my future with NSCS, I can predict that the outcome will be positive. Prospectively, the most important thing I can accomplish from NSCS is leadership. Leadership is having integrity and showing versatility in communities, work environment, school and home. It also extends beyond having influence on others and in fact it is a characteristic not possess by everyone. However, it is achievable and with consistent effort, knowledge and most importantly confidence; leadership and success will be attainable.
In my youth, I was not always as confident and fortunate however, my façade contradicted what I felt on the inside. Despite living in an urban community and having little confidence, I always desired change. As I grew older I decided to join the police force and use it as an avenue to fund my college tuition. I never thought of joining any honor society and truthfully NSCS was the first esteemed honor society to send me a congratulatory email. Within that same year of 2016, I was inducted into NSCS which aided in the growth of my confidence. During that process, I expressed my achievement to my family through mediums such as social media, telephone conversations, and text messages.

Significantly and conspicuously, I learned how NSCS would offer myriads of life altering career alternatives; which will heighten my sense of exposure and experience while I embrace different cultural dynamics. Ever since my enlistment, NSCS gave me multitudes of opportunities to apply for several scholarships and S2 challenges, join the national leadership council, be able to become the scholar of the week, be a member of the International Scholar Laureate Program which commenced in May 2016, attend Scholorcon in June 2016, and participate in the Jared box
