New York University , it seems like a no brainer to me and I want to be completely honest as to what sparked my interest in this specific university. You hear people talking about NYU and then the word success follows right after. There’s a connection between both. Throughout my time at USU, I have learned that learning is so much more than just sitting in a room listening to an adult drawl on in a monotonous tone about subjects that put me right to sleep. I have learned to find the love and passion I once had in classrooms where everyday is a mystery that I cannot wait to unfold. Thus it is seen that the purpose of college is to help students grow in every aspect which is accomplished through general education courses. Ever since I was young, I have found a profound love for knowledge.

As a May 2015 graduate of Manhattan College, landing a financial analyst position for a global media agency brought me into a brand new world of increased involvement in budget project management roles. Doing so has made me aware of the challenges that come along with projects and the project managers who are charged with bringing them to completion. My client account is Machine Zone, recognized for their most popular games on the App Store - Game of War and Mobile Strike. As a financial analyst, I have gained significant experience in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of client budget management. This encompasses all financial transactions for my client, including but not limited to budget reporting, planned versus actual, projections and forecasts, client billing, discrepancy management, and client receivables.

Since the world has been transformed from a manufacturing-based economy to an economy based on knowledge, college education has become a critical factor which serves as the gateway to better options and more opportunity. As our world has become more integrated, I learned that I should enhance not only my academic cognizance but also interpersonal skills to become an engaged and effective global citizen who not only possesses good moral character, but is also equipped with the knowledge, values, aptitudes and attitudes to address global issues.
