Rutgers offers an incredible amount of opportunities to enhance your personal life, as well as academic knowledge; while providing its students with the ability to give back to those who need it the most. Rutgers is the place where scholars can truly become educated. It is a school with well-recognized professors, who are at the pinnacle of their respective fields. For a long time NYU was the only college I knew existed. I grew up in the Bronx and came to Manhattan to visit my grandparents who owned vintage clothing stores in Greenwich Village. I grew up playing dress-up in the stores alongside the NYU students who were frequent customers. I climbed the jungle gym in Washington Square Park alongside NYU students playing frisbee. When I took walks around the Village with my grandfather, he would point out the students and the different NYU buildings.
In my search for the perfect college, I looked for diverse academic programs, a wide selection of activities outside the classroom, and ample future opportunities, all of which were met and exceeded by NYU. Located in a vibrant city filled with attractions for the newcomer, NYU offers a unique educational experience that combines classroom teachings and outdoor learning. An experience that would allow me to immerse myself into different cultures surrounding New York City, while also furthering my studies. The versatile nature of the campus shows me that this college is capable of pushing me to new limits, while also allowing me the opportunity to explore areas of interest I would have never considered. I feel as though NYU would be the perfect
When I first walked through NYU, while visiting my sister this past July, I was immediately entranced by the bustling atmosphere surrounding Washington Square Park. I was captivated by the way the campus sprawled across New York. My eyes were enraptured by the sight of small parks amidst concrete buildings and trendy cafes as I explored the area. As I stood in front of the Stern building, my motivation to attend further solidified. Ever since I have been thinking of college, attending New York University has genuinely been my dream for years and I have worked tirelessly to achieve it.
It will also provide an opportunity to shadow medical students and doctors, and work closely with the school faculty and advisors. By participating in a program that prioritizes my interests in medicine, I will be able to take part in research and build on these experiences and my passion for neurology. A guaranteed admission will free up the time from applying via traditional route to pursue other activities and
I expect to graduate from Northeastern Illinois University with High Honors, in May 2018 and I will be the first in my immediate family to obtain any college degree. An education at the University at Buffalo would be a major factor in reaching my goals on multiple levels. Being able to learn practical techniques from some of the best faculty in the field, at an internationally renowned institution, will make my knowledge base infinitely larger provide me with the skills to conduct credible research. Studying at a university that expects the most from its students is one of the challenges I will embrace and one that will prepare me for an accomplished future. Additionally, the MSW/Ph.D. Advanced Standing option will allow me to build on my existing BSW knowledge and earn my degree more quickly.
Why NYU? Well, when I arrived in the U.S. at the age of 10, people kept mentioning the countless opportunities available to me here in New York. One of the ideas that truly caught my attention was the notion that, with hard work, I could one day attend NYU. I didn’t truly understand why NYU was so special but the notion resonated with me throughout the years. Now, though, in my senior year, I truly understand what that notion means.
I realized that a career in the healthcare profession is the ideal fit for me. I will gain valuable experience that will prepare me for the challenges that UW-Madison will bring. Overall, I want to attend UW-Madison because of its reputation in academics, extracurricular activities, research, the welcoming atmosphere, and the beautiful campus that comes along with it.
During my high school years, I knew I was interested in health and the sciences. Come senior year, I chose Emory because it is a leading research university, has an extensive healthcare system, and exceptional academics. Throughout my time here, I've grown to love neuroscience through my research and the courses I've taken -- and that's why I'm a NBB major. NBB is a little bit of everything; this interdisciplinary science encompasses aspects of Neuroscience, Biology, Anthropology, and Psychology. With that, I chose Emory because I knew it would provide many interesting majors, organizations, and research opportunities; So, I knew from the get-go I would grow multitudes at Emory.
At Pitt I would be immersed in a huge neuroscience environment, which would give me great perspective on the field. I have never seen so many professors working in a single field as the CNUP Training Faculty list. Pitt particularly draws me in because of its large amount of computational and theoretical neuroscience research. I also plan on applying to University of Pittsburgh’s neuroscience program for graduate school, so it would be great to learn more about the school in my undergraduate

I recognize the prestige of their medicine and nursing programs as well as their extensive list of education departments and would be honored to further my education at this school. Thanks to the amazing group of role models and peers I have surrounded myself with during my education thus far, I have learned that the only limits on my future are the ones that I place myself. This has changed the way I view my career path because I know that in order to truly succeed I need to be care about and be invested in my goals. Clarifying those goals of working in the medical field and overall helping others has motivated me like no other to take my education seriously as it is really my future. More than anything, I strive to gain the tools necessary to make an impact in the world of health and I believe that the University of Washington would accommodate that
