When I first walked through NYU, while visiting my sister this past July, I was immediately entranced by the bustling atmosphere surrounding Washington Square Park. I was captivated by the way the campus sprawled across New York. My eyes were enraptured by the sight of small parks amidst concrete buildings and trendy cafes as I explored the area. As I stood in front of the Stern building, my motivation to attend further solidified. Ever since I have been thinking of college, attending New York University has genuinely been my dream for years and I have worked tirelessly to achieve it. Studying business at an institution that focuses on interdisciplinary research, such as New York University, will help further my entrepreneurial career and reach my dream. NYU will provide me with immense opportunities that will help me grow my career and supply me with the assets I need to bring meaningful change to the world, specifically the sustainability concentration that the university offers. Taking classes such as Social Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Food Business, Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Protein, and Driving Market Solutions for Clean Energy will prepare me with the needed resources and knowledge to work on creating a healthier planet through energy or even alternative proteins. As Stern hopes to improve the world through uplifting beneficial businesses, I hope to use the unique resources provided to and manage eco-friendly businesses that produce less waste and greenhouse gases but are still affordable and successful. I hope to attend school in New York City because of the numerous connections to start-ups
